Tulasi Devi Pooja at Singapore Namadwaar

By the immense grace of our beloved Guru Maharaj, His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji, and the boundless blessings of our cherished deities Sri Madhurisakhi samedha Sri Premika Varadhan, Namadwaar Singapore joyously organized the Tulasi Devi Pooja on the auspicious day of Karthika Dwadashi, 2nd November 2025, from 5:45 PM to 7:15 PM at Vadabhadra Kaliamman Temple, Serangoon Road, Singapore.

The sacred evening commenced with the mellifluous chanting of the Maha Mantra, filling the temple hall with divine vibrations and serenity. Under the graceful guidance of Brahmasri Janardanan Ji, a revered Vedic scholar and the temple priest of Namadwaar, 77 Mahilas (ladies) participated in this blessed occasion with utmost devotion and enthusiasm.
Following the traditional Sankalpam and Ganapathi Pooja, each participant received a Tulasi plant, a living embodiment of purity and divine grace. The devotees then performed archanai to Tulasi Devi, chanting the Tulasi Ashtottara Shata Namavali with deep reverence. The rhythmic recitation of the sacred names resonated through the hall, creating an atmosphere of spiritual elevation and peace.

Brahmasri Janardananji delivered a brief yet profound discourse on the Mahathmyam (glory) of Tulasi Pooja, drawing insights from the Padma Purana and other Vedic scriptures. He beautifully explained how Tulasi Devi, revered as an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi and beloved of Lord Vishnu, stands as an eternal symbol of purity, devotion, and divine energy.

The ritual included offering flowers, lighting lamps, and chanting mantras while tenderly watering the sacred Tulasi plant. Our beloved Guruji always emphasizes the power of collective prayer, reminding us that when hearts unite in devotion, the blessings multiply manifold. As the pooja concluded, devotees rendered Madhura Geethams composed by Sri Swamiji glorifying Tulasi Devi, followed by the blissful chanting of the Maha Mantra, filling every heart with divine joy and contentment.

The evening culminated with the distribution of dinner prasadham, shared amidst an ambience of love, unity, and gratitude. The serene atmosphere, devotional chants, and radiant smiles of the participants made this divine gathering truly memorable.
May Goddess Tulasi Devi bless all devotees with purity of heart, prosperity, happiness, and everlasting peace.
