Holistic Development

Learning does not just happen within four closed walls of a classroom. The world can be a great teacher if you let it be your guide. Gopakuteeram creates an environment for your child to develop holistically as a well-rounded individual by using the wisdom of our ancient scriptures.
The teachings from our ancient scriptures are introduced in an activity based playful environment – through stories, music, art, games and theatre. The values of ‘Bharatiya Samskruti’ are imbibed in children at a very young age. This inspires them to lead righteous lives and be responsible citizens as they see divinity in the world around them. As they grow into young adults in this increasingly conflicting world, these foundations will act as a moral compass that guide their every action.

National Heritage

Rationale

  • To be informed of what is required, and omit what is not
  • To care for others by seeing God Himself in them, and to contribute to the society by appreciating divinity in all creations and aware of Bharatiya Samskruti, and are inspired to lead righteous lives and be responsible citizens
  • To inculcate in them, the quest for answers, right from a younger age; and to give them structured and unstructured opportunities to search in their own heritage, the answers to those questions
  • To appreciate the reasoning and scientific explanation behind our time-wound practices and motivating them to explore in that direction
  • To understand and appreciate sacred writings, (Srimad Bhagavatham, Mahabharatha, Ramayana, and all other puranas) since morals and values in society have their origin from there; and to help them apply it to issues and situations they confront in everyday life.
  • To give them opportunities to express religion and spirituality through arts – including music, arts, drama, literature and architecture
  • To provide them with experiences and knowledge that they do not usually get in satsang
  • To ensure their physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and intellectual growth
  • To create an awareness of what it means to be human, and the inherent responsibilities that come with it
  • To help them see themselves as one with all creation, and in turn become caring and affirming to all
  • To educate them on India’s contribution to the world in the field of arts, architecture, astrology, astrophysics, economics, medicine, literature, science, mathematics etc.
  • To instill in them, respect towards the role of family, satsang, society and nation.
