Students Motivational Lecture and Mass Prayer in Bangalore- Jan’19
Students Mass Prayer & Motivational Lecture was conducted on the 12th Jan 2019, for students appearing for X, XII & Pre-university examination at Saraswati Vidyaniketana School ground, Dommasandra, Anekal, Bangalore coinciding with Sri Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi day.
The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by our GOD volunteers & the Managing committee members of the school followed by rendering of the “Saraswati vandana”, Bhajans by the school students. Introduction to GOD activities globally and in particular the activities done in Bangalore was done by Ms. Madhuri Narayan. Thereafter the program was conducted in 3 sessions on the same day.
The 1st part of the series was a special sessions conducted for the students from class V to VIII in the auditorium where all the students enthusiastically participated. Over 500 students attended this session which concluded with the chanting of Mahamantra. Sri. Nama sekar conducted this session.
The 2nd sessions of the day was Motivational lecture for the students from class X, XII, PU which were delivered by Sri Abhishek Narayan in English & Sri. Nama sekar in Kannada. Several inspirational examples were quoted by the speakers and experiences of the past students were narrated by the speakers. Students heard the lecture(s) with rapt attention and whole heartedly participated in the interactive session. Over 2000 students attended this session. The session concluded with chanting of the Mahamantra by all the participants. All the students attending the SMP program were provided with Examination pads with Sri Sundara Anjaneya swamy photo printed on them / pen/ Mahamantra stickers/ book marks and a packet of biscuit as complimentary take away.
The 3rd session was conducted exclusively for Teachers / Parents and nearby local people. Over 200 people participated in this session which was conducted by Sri.Nama sekar. In this session also Mahamantra was chanted at the end. Thereafter the entire group undertook Nagarasankirtan for over 45 minutes.
