Srimad Bhagavatham Discourse in Singapore by Sri Sudharshanji
Srimad Bhagavatam discourses are held regularly every Saturday at Namadwaar Singapore. In April 2026, Namadwaar Singapore hosted a public discourse program based on Srimad Bhagavatham. The program was held at Arulmigu Velmurugan Gnana Muneeswaran Temple in Rivervale, Sengkang, every evening from March 28th to April 3rd.
The discourse was delivered by Sri Sudharshanji, an enthusiastic scholar and disciple of HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji. Guided by Sri Swamiji’s vision, Sudharshanji actively serves Namadwaar and the Global Organisation for Divinity, spreading spiritual wisdom through discourses and parayans. He regularly gives discourses on the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Srimad Bhagavatham, and Sri Vaishnava compositions, including Thiruppavai and Bhakta Charitrams, sharing the teachings of Sri Swamiji and timeless scriptures with devotees in India and abroad.
Arulmigu Velmurugan Gnana Muneeswaran Temple in Rivervale serves as a Hindu religious landmark within the modern Sengkang residential area, offering easy access to vibrant religious ceremonies and Indian cultural activities. Over seven days, several devotees connected deeply with the narration, experiencing intense joy and a heartfelt connection to the Divine. Many attended all seven days, bringing family and friends. While adults immersed themselves in the discourse, children enjoyed reading books and creating artwork. Regular temple devotees joined the satsang after witnessing the captivated audience. Each day drew 80-120 devotees.
Sri Sudarshanji covered various facets of Srimad Bhagavatham, from foundational verses and divine avatars to the tales of Krishna’s divine play. Many shared that they heard the intricacies, beauty, and relevance of Srimad Bhagavatam for the first time in their lives. Those already familiar with Srimad Bhagavatham appreciated the opportunity to listen again, right in their neighborhood.
Namadwaar Singapore expresses gratitude for the grace and blessings of our revered Sri Swamiji, under whose vision and guidance devotees experience the joy of chanting the Mahamantra and the wisdom of Srimad Bhagavatam.
