Sri Swamiji’s Jayanthi Celebrations at Atlanta Namadwaar
By the immense grace of Sri Swamiji and Sri Premikavaradha Takurji Atlanta Namadwaar was filled with divine joy and gratitude as devotees came together to celebrate Sri Swamiji’s Jayanthi across two days.
October 22 marked the beginning of the celebrations. Devotees celebrated Sri Swamiji’s Tirunakshatram with a 12-hour Akhanda Nama from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, where devotees joined both in person and online to chant the Maha Mantra in gratitude and prayer. That evening, from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, devotees assembled at Namadwaar to offer Nama, sing Guru Kirtans. Devotees were blessed with an opportunity to present heartfelt prayers to Sri Swamiji’s Holy Padukas. Devotee had the opportunity to offer flowers to the Padukas. The children added a touch of joy to the occasion by celebrating with a cake.
On October 25, the devotees continued the celebrations with a vibrant Purappadu for Sri Swamiji. Both adults and children joyfully took turns carrying the palanquin bearing Sri Swamiji’s picture and the Holy Padukas that were beautifully decorated with flowers. The Purappadu was filled with devotion and gratitude as devotees swayed and danced to Guru Kirtans, chanted Nama, and performed Pushpavarsham. Devotees lovingly made garlands with colorful flowers that were offered to Sri Premikavaradha Takurji and Sri Swamiji.
Over 75 devotees participated across both days, and the events concluded with Harathi, Dolotsavam, and a sumptuous meal served with love.
