Sri Swamiji at Janmasthan of Sri Seshadri Swamigal

Sri Swamiji was invited by the Vazhur Sri Seshadri Swamigal Trust on 14th February to Vazhur, the birthplace of Mahatma Sri Seshadri Swamigal.

The Trust, under the leadership of Smt Mahalakshmi Subramanian, Auditor Sri Ravi and committee members, has done the noble kainkarya of buying the house where Sri Seshadri Swamigal incarnated and has made it a monument in dedication to the Mahatma.

A grand reception with band and procession was arranged, and the entire village had gathered to welcome Sri Swamiji in all pomp and glory. Kolattam and kummi led by Smt Mahalakshmi, was offered as a splendid reception. For about 20 km leading to the janmasthan, portraits of Sri Swamiji with Mahamantra written on them, were placed as a thoughtful welcome to Sri Swamiji, who lives and breathes Nama. After visiting the village temples, Sri Swamiji reached the janmashthan of Sri Seshadri Swamigal.

Sri Swamiji inaugurated portraits of Sri Seshadri Swamigal and Kanchi Sri Maha Periyava. Sri Swamiji spoke about the great Saint Sri Seshadri Swamigal. He prayed for the health, prosperity, and strength for all those who were involved in this seva.

All those who were part of this selfless kainkarya were blessed with prasad by Sri Swamiji. Renowned artist Sri Maniam Selvan, who painted the portrait of Kanchi Sri Mahaperiyava was also present.
