Sri Pallikondaperumal Temple Samprokshanam
Sri Pallikondaperumal Temple, located in Thirunangur near Sirkazhi, is one of the 108 Vaishnava Divya Desams. Thirumangaiyazhwar performed Mangalasasanam for this Perumal in deiva tamil.
About 7 temples in Thirunangur are dutifully administered by the family lineage of Prathivadhi Bhayankaram Swamigal, a Sri Vaishnava Sampradaya Acharya. Sri Pallikondaperumal Temple is also one of them.
Our Jayanti Janakiraman Memorial Dravida Veda Agama Patasala is located in this Thirunangur Kshetram.
The restoration works for Sri Pallikondaperumal Temple were fully completed by Sri Swamiji and the Mahasamprokshanam was held for the first time on 10/4/2000.
With the blessings of our Gurunathar, Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji, the Jaya Hanuman Seva Trust recently completed the temple’s Thiruppani Kainkaryam for the second time. The culmination ceremony was held on 21/2/2024 at 11.15 am in the divine presence of Sri Swamiji, Officials of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Temple administrators, Dignitaries, and thousands of devotees. The arrangements for the ceremony were made by the temple authorities along with our Smt Jayanthi Janakiraman Dravida Veda Agama Patasala.
