Sri Niketan – Divine Abode at Sacred Vrajbhoomi

Srivanam (Vrindavan Dhaam), Yugalam (The Divine Couple – Sri Krishna and Sri Radha), Srimad Bhagavatam and Nama are closest to Sri Swamiji’s heart.

The holy bhoomi in Vrindavan Dhaam was purchased in the 90s. It is located in close proximity to the famous Katyayani Mandir that enshrines Katyayani Devi to whom the Gopis pray to attain Sri Krishna.

Every grain of sand in the Vrajbhoomi is the holiest, as Bhagavan Sri Krishna has set foot on it. Hence this piece of land enjoys a very special and unique place in Guru Maharaj’s heart and has been named Sri Niketan – a beautiful word that finds place in Gopika Geetam of Srimad Bhagavatam. A makeshift shrine was built and was home to Sri Prema Madhuri sameta Sri Vrindavan Vihari for the past few years. The dedicated sevaks of Sri Swamiji, Sri Vrajdas, formerly a Indian army personnel, assisted by Sri Yuvaraj and Sri Sudeep Narayanan have been selflessly taking care of Sri Niketan.

In March 2024, Sri Yugala Seva Trust was constituted and registered to carry Vrindavan kainkaryas forwards. As directed by Sri Swamiji, an elaborate plan has been formed, to have a permanent structure at Sri Niketan that will house a shrine for the Divine Couple, a nice satsang hall, accommodation for devotees and a Vedapatashala. Construction is currently under way, and is making steady progress. It is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
