Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations at Melbourne Namadwaar
By the boundless grace of Guru Maharaj, Namadwaar Melbourne celebrated 2025 Janamashtami Brahmotsav in a grand manner for 10 days.
On 16th August, Janmashtami was celebrated with grandeur , starting with abhisekham, Dasama Skandha parayanam of Krishna jananam, Nandotsavam , kolattam along with madhurgeethams rendered by the Gopakuteeram kids and Youth team and the majestic Hamsa Vahana procession
Melbourne Namadwaar was overflowing with devotees who joyfully sang kirtans and celebrated nandotsav.
Following the morning parayanam of Dasama Skandam, On 17th Aug, evening there was a dance samarpanam by Nrithya Kavya school and musical samarpanam by students of Keerthana Music school It was followed by Procession of Sesha Vahanam of Premika Varadhan & Madhuri Sakhi.
From the evening of 18th Aug until 21st Aug , we had parayanam in the morning and the evenings were celebrated with the procession of Simha vahanam, Garuda vahanam, Gaja vahanam & Ashwa vahanam. Many devotees including children participated in the procession and joyfully sang many madhurageethams and namavalis.
On 22nd Aug, we had Nikunjotsavam with Raas Lila dance samarpanam by Hreem Dance Company. Bhagavan was blissfully seated in a swing, decorated with flowers and lamps. It was truly a divine evening where hearts merged to the Raas Lila and Madhurageethams that followed.
On 23rd Aug morning, the grand Radha Kalyanam utsavam began with *Ashtapadhi offering (1-21), in the morning followed by Vocal concert by Sapthaswara school of music & Janavasam in the evening On 24th Aug morning Radha Kalyanam was celebrated with such grandeur with namadwaar overflowing with devotees .
The Brahmotsav concluded on a high, in a very joyful way with Teppotsavam and Anjaneyar Utsavam on 24th Aug evening. It was a joyful sight for the devotees to behold Krishna & Radha adorned in a beautiful teppam floating in the water.
Devotees were served delicious Lunch & Dinner prasad on all days. Special pooja was done for Sponsors & they were honored with prasadam. The Venue was colorfully decorated, buzzing with devotees, echoing sweet tunes and auspiciousness all around. All Glories to our beloved Guru Maharaj!
