Aug 15, 2026 – Aadi Pooram and Andal Kalyanam
Signifying the birth of Sri Andal who showed us the way to attain Bhagavan  by steadfast faith and pure devotion – the little girls of the satsang dressed up like Andal and surrounded the little Krishna “Prem Sundar” dancing with/for him, rolling coconuts listening to Vaaranam Aayiram and Nachiyar Thirumozhi paasurams. They also sang Gopika geetham – remembering the longing Sri Andal had like that of the Gopis to attain Bhagavan.

The Andal Kalyanam was grandly celebrated with the singing of Madhurageetham, Ashtapadi and offering of Akkaraadisal –  a sweet that Sri Andal promised to offer Bhagavan. The Stree shakthis made garlands with flowers & bangles and offered to the divine mother praying for bhakthi and kainkaryam ever at their Lotus Feet.

In line with the Indian Independence day kids and adults reminisced the glory of the rich land – Bharath by singing of the Indian National Anthem with much pride and respect holding the Tri-colour. Kids enjoyed  Kahoot quiz that kindled their quest to learn more about the great Bharath, thus showcasing their knowledge in many aspects of Indian land and its vast culture, political growth, integrity, university in diversity. Despite living far away from Bharath, the kids did amazing job in answering most of the questions and also learning new pointers.

This lively quiz session continued for adults too, thus leading to humbly remembering the magnanimous Bharath growing quietly yet powerfully in every aspect by the Sankalpa of Mahatmas and unparalleled effort of mankind working and protecting the great land with just one thought that its “Our Nation”. The satsang culminated with chanting of Hanuma Chalisa and kirtans highlighting the greatness of Bharath.

Around 60 devotees lovingly participated in the Andal Kalyanam celebrations and devoured the feast prepared on occasion of the divine wedding & Indian Independence day celebration.
