Satsangs at Namadwaar Atlanta

Atlanta Namadwaar’s weekly Satsangs continue to be vibrant gatherings filled with learning and spiritually enriching activities. By the boundless grace of Sri Swamiji, devotees across all age groups have been studying the Srimad Bhagawatham for many years. One of the unique aspects of these Satsangs is the collective learning experience, where devotees of all ages come together to learn, reflect, and grow.

The Satsang schedule is thoughtfully designed to engage everyone through a variety of offerings, including Sri Madhurageetham, Divyanamam, and interactive sessions such as Shravane Sukham, a dedicated weekly segment where devotees share experiences and life lessons rooted in spiritual wisdom.

Devotees also participate by offering Panchageethams, reciting chapters from the Srimad Bhagavatham, and engaging in Mahamantra chanting, making each Satsang deeply immersive and fulfilling.

On Friday May 15th, Atlanta Namadwaar devotees were blessed with a special opportunity to listen to Guru Mahima by Sri Sriram Ramanujam ji, disciple of HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji from Houston. He shared his unique experiences and cherished moments with Sri Swamiji with the Bhagavathas, leaving everyone deeply inspired. His narration, filled with heartfelt devotion and subtle humor, brought many moments of joy and were warmly cherished by all who were present.

On May 16th, Atlanta Namadwaar also organized Dasama Skanda Parayanam from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering devotees a blissful and immersive day of Srimad Bhagavatham parayanam. By Sri Swamiji’s grace, the consistent study of the Bhagavatham during weekly Satsangs laid a strong foundation, enabling participants of all age groups to take part in the Parayanam with ease and confidence. The auspicious morning commenced with Thirumanjanam for the divine couple, setting a sacred and serene tone for the day’s proceedings. Devotees collectively offered Chapters 10.1 through 10.54, culminating in the divine Rukmini Kalyanam. This marked the second Parayanam held this year.

In addition to the regular Satsang schedule and Gopakuteeram classes, Atlanta Namadwaar devotees have been conducting weekly classes for children, including Hanuman Chalisa, Vishnu Sahasranamam, and Panchageetham. These convenient 30-minute virtual sessions enable children from Atlanta and other states to participate consistently. With the dedicated guidance of committed teachers, and by Sri Swamiji’s grace, the children are being nurtured with care and discipline. This initiative stands as a testament to how the Atlanta Namadwaar family comes together to nurture young minds and foster their spiritual growth.

Over the month of May, children participating in these classes came together during weekly Satsangs to offer their learnings as a collective act of devotion.

The Panchageetham group presented Pranaya Geetham at Namadwaar, marking their second offering following Venu Geetham in April, reflecting the continuity of their ongoing classes. Similarly, children attending the Vishnu Sahasranamam classes gathered to recite the first 20 shlokas as an offering to Sri Thakurji, demonstrating their steady progress in the ongoing sessions.

Additionally, the Hanuman Chalisa batch, having successfully completed their 12-week learning cycle, around 20 children residing in Atlanta, assembled at Namadwaar to offer a collective chanting for the pleasure of Sri Thakurji, Sri Swamiji, and Sri Anjaneya. These initiatives, along with the platform provided by Namadwaar, are instrumental in strengthening the children’s spiritual foundation while also instilling confidence, discipline, and courage—qualities that will help shape them into responsible and value-driven individuals. The programs have also received encouraging and heartfelt appreciation from both children and parents, reflecting the meaningful impact they continue to create within the community.
