Puranava – Mumbai 2023

By the grace of Guru Maharaj, the 4th edition of PURANAVA, the interschool quiz competition on Indian Heritage was held by GOD Mumbai, in Zaveriben Auditorium, Ghatkopar East on 7th of Oct 2023.

131 teams from all over Mumbai took part.

The quiz masters Dr. Janani ji and Vignesh ji engaged the students wonderfully well. The students were highly enthusiastic in answering. The finals took off very well, so much so that we found ourselves on the edge of the seats.

The teams of the schools P G Garodia, DAV public school, Singhania Thane, Pawar Public school, Vivekanand Ed Soc Sindhi Colony, and D J Doshi Gurukul school made it to the finals by scoring well.

The winners Trophy was lifted by P G Garodia ICSE School. The 1st runner up being DAV Public School Thane and the 2nd runner up was Smt Sulochanadevi Singhania School.

Our Chief Guest was Sri Harishchandra C Parekh. He was the Director Gen of Income Tax, in Chennai and Mumbai, Ex Chancellor of Udaipur University and Public speaker on Vegetarianism and an expert on Indian Independence movement.

He had all appreciation for such a quiz being held on Indian Heritage and spoke with high regard about the way the quiz was conducted and the efforts behind such an event.

The feedback from the schools and the teachers who accompanied the students was overwhelmingly encouraging.

All in all, it was a successful event and the Grace of our Master was quite apparent.
