Puranava 2026 – Pune
By the immense grace of our Sri Swamiji, PURANAVA in Pune was held on 22nd of Aug 2026 at the auditorium of Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research, Ravet, Pune. A total of 26 schools took part in the event with 131 teams. A total of 393 enthusiastic students and 26 teachers arrived with all enthusiasm and made it a grand event.
The quiz masters were Sri M S Bhargav Subramanyam (conducted the prelims) and Sri Nirmal Mannargudi (conducted the finals). After a very interesting prelims with 25 questions, the following 6 schools emerged as finalists:

3.Podar International School Manjri
4.Podar International School Sara City
5.D I C English Medium School
6.D Y Patil Dyanshanti
There were 6 rounds in the finals and the last two rounds, Dumb Charades and Rapid Fire round was quite vibrant and the competition made the audience equally on pinheads. The quiz masters kept the audience active and equally enthusiastic by involving them with audience questions at periodical intervals. The PUNE round won everybody’s heart. The bubbling energy of the finalists and audience was very apparent from the very beginning of the finals. The winners were D I C English Medium school. The first Runner up being Podar International school Chinchwad and the second Runners up place was taken by Podar International School Manjri.
The Chief Guest for the day was the Director of Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research who has won many awards like National Gandhian young Technological innovation award, won First prize in zonal level for Aviskar 2008, and first prize of Uniken innovation award 2011. He addressed the students and gave away the trophies certificates and cash prizes. Thus the 3rd edition of Pune Puranava ended successfully by the abundant grace of Sri Swamiji.
