Puranava 2025 – Mumbai
By the immense grace of Sri Swamiji, the sixth edition of the annual event PURANAVA was conducted in Mumbai on 29th Nov 2025 at Zaverben Auditorium, Ghatkopar. 21 schools registered for participation and there was a total of 88 teams.
The event was a big success and the students were enthusiastic. The prelims score was neck to neck between 7/8 schools, and as per the norms of the quiz competition, the 6 teams for the finals was selected. The finals was conducted with a couple of new rounds added and with active participation of the audience as well.
The first round being Krishna Leela round, 2nd round was “CONNECT ROUND”, 3rd round “STAMP ROUND”, 4th being “GRID ROUND”, 5th was DUMB CHARADES and the 6th was RAPID FIRE round. The Dumb Charades and Rapid fire round made a large impact on the score board. The GRID round gave the audience a lot of opportunity to take part. The cash awards in addition to the trophies increased the momentum of the competition.

The winners were P G Garodia ICSE School, the first and second runners up being Radcliffe School, Kharghar and VPM Airoli ICSE School respectively. The score board showed a marginal difference between the 1st and 2nd runners up and it was neck to neck throughout.
The quiz program generated a lot of enthusiasm amongst the students, the teachers and parents. The chief guest for the function was Dr. Sonia, Principal of DJ Doshi Gurukul, Ghatkopar who has a double PG degree, Ph.D in Education,and pusuing LLB now. A winner of Guru Dronacharya Award. Moderator for HSc board for the past 9yrs.
