Sri Pandava Thoothar Perumal Temple Samprokshanam

Sri Pandava Thoothar Perumal Temple, also referred to as Thirupadagam Kshetram, in Kanchipuram is the 48th Divya Desam among the 108 Vaishnava Divya Desams. The Azhwars: Bhoothathalvar, Peyalvar, Thirumazhisaiyalvar, and Thirumangaiyalvar performed Mangalasasanam to this Perumal in Deiva Tamil. Among the twelve Azhwars, Bhoothathazhwar, Peyazhwar and Thirumazhisayazhwar incarnated during the Puranic period. This underscores the antiquity of the temple.

The principal deity of the temple (Moolavar), Sri Pandava Thoothar Perumal, with Thailakappu Thirumeni is 25 feet in height and bestows His blessings upon us in amarndha thirukolam. Notably, our Kanchipuram Sri Pandava Thoothar Perumal is the tallest Thailakappu thirumeni in amarndha kolam worldwide.

One of the Vaishnava Sampradaya Acharyas of the temple, Arulala Peruman Emperuman’s family lineage, Thirumalai Vinjimoor family dutifully upholds the temple administrations across generations.

With the blessings of Maharanyam Sri Muralidhara Swamji, The thiruppani kainkaryam of Sri Pandava Thoothar Perumal Temple was fully completed by Jaya Hanuman Seva Trust. The culmination ceremony took place on 15th February 2024 at about 8:15 am, in the presence of our Gurunathar Maharanyam Sri Muralidhara Swamji, Officers of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, the Temple administrators, and about thousand devotees. The arrangements were done by the temple authorities along with our Smt Jayanthi Janakiraman Dravida Veda Agama Patasala.
