Namadwaar Singapore celebrates Earth Day with GIG international School

Namadwaar Singapore, under its Joy of Sharing initiative, conducted Samskruti art competition at GIG international School on 22nd April commemorating ‘Earth Day’.

The primary and secondary children were given the topic ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – One Earth One family’ for art submission aptly titled for the occasion. Many enthusiastic children submitted their art and Namadwaar was invited as a special guest to preside over and judge the event. There were many wonderful creative artworks, with maths in nature, Save Earth -Save Environment , beauty in nature etc.

Apart from the Art competition, there were other events like TED Talk on environment protection by secondary children, Earth warriors fancy dress and trash to treasure by primary children. The children beautifully explained the topics with supporting visuals and props.

They made many new innovatives and creative models from biodegradable toys to useful things made out of waste, emphasising on Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Samskruti paved the way to a beautiful, collaborative relationship with GIG International School.
