Shri G. K. Ramamurthy was an entrepreneur turned philanthropist and a noble soul, the founder of GKR Charities, Mumbai. He performed numerous philanthropic activities across social and medical causes, and extended generous support to Hindu temples, including temple renovations and support for Vedic causes.

He was also an educationalist who established many schools, touching countless lives through education. He was, above all, a selfless soul who dedicated his life and his wealth towards serving society.
On 29th June, he merged with the holy feet of Bhagavan.
