Madhurageetham event by Kanya Sisters at Secunderabad
A Madhurageetham Kirtan event by the Kanya Sisters at Kalasagaram, Marredpally, Secunderabad organized by Sri Sandeepani Gurukula trust (A.P).
The event took off on a meticulously planned Thematic note by Kanya Sisters. A divine treat for Hyderabad bhakthas!
True to its name, the satsang immersed the attendees in deep devotion through shrunvanthi (listening), grunanthi (remembering), and gAyanthi (singing). Everyone rejoiced the soulful Madhurageetham kirtans beautifully rendered by the Dhanya (Kanya) Sisters.
The selection of songs was inspiring, uplifting and impactful, allowing attendees to both relish the music and resonate with it.
On the first day (9th Oct’26) they rendered around 20 Madhurageethams on Guru including Namavalis. The sequentially planned soulful songs beautifully reflected :
1. The significance of a spiritual master whose guidance gradually transforms the seeker, ultimately leading to union with the divine.
2. A profound expression of gratitude to Guru Maharaj for showering immense love, compassion, and causeless mercy on the bhaktas despite their flaws.
On the second day (10.10.26), Sri Guruji’s compositions that were rendered explicitly reiterated the importance, power, and glory of Nama and Sathsang emphasizing that chanting the Divine names is the only refuge for the current yuga.
On the final day (11.10.26), heartfelt compositions of beloved Sri Guruji on Sri Premikavaradhan, the principal deity, were rendered with such Bhakthi Bhava that the attendees were deeply moved, so much so that they could visualize Kutty Kannan Leelas (Damodara leela, Navaneetha chora leela, Govardhana leela, mesmerizing Venu gaanam, and so on)
On all three days, a foot-tapping, hand-clapping Namavali followed each Madhurageetham. The tempo was so well-maintained that the attendees thoroughly enjoyed and enthusiastically participated. Around 60+ bhakthas attended the event daily & satvik sumptuous annaprasadam was served all the 3 days.
The blissful event that concluded on October 11, 2026, will always remain close to the hearts of Hyderabad’s devotees.
On 10th & 11th October Maha Mantra was chanted from 5:45 pm to 6:15 pm by Hyderabad bhakthas.
On 11.10.26 evening Kanya Sisters, Sri Vembu Pushkala on vocal support & artists Sri Ramuji on Tabla & Sri Srinivasji on Harmonium were honoured.
