Life & Soul Health Fair – Event by LTSFA
By the blessings of Sri Swamiji and the immense grace of Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal, the much-awaited 13th annual Life and Soul Free Community Health Fair was held in New Life on September 13, 2025. The event was organized by the Love to Share Foundation America (LTSFA) in collaboration with various community organizations. Approximately 200 community members received free health screenings, vaccinations, health awareness workshops, and other complimentary services. Several dignitaries attended the event, including the Honorable Mayor of the City of Manvel, Mr. Dan Davis, Honorable Precinct 1 Commissioner Mr. Jay Burridge, and Honorable State Representative, Mr. Ron Reynolds.
The event was initiated by Sri Gadhadharan ji with the chanting of the Mahamantra. The Honorable Mayor then gave the opening address and presented appreciation certificates to the youth volunteers of LTSFA. The health fair was then officially kicked off. Volunteers assisted attendees with registration for health screenings and guided them to the corresponding examination rooms. There were Spanish-speaking volunteers as well to assist with people from the Spanish community.
This year’s health fair included a wide range of screenings such as Mammograms, Thyroid Ultrasound, Fatty Liver Screening, Carotid Doppler, EKG, Cholesterol, Blood Glucose, Dental, Vision, and much more. Results of most screenings were provided on the spot. The fair also provided free flu shots, and a blood donation drive was set up as well.
This year’s event is made possible by the generous support of community partners and sponsors, including CLS Health – Grand sponsor, Texas Emergency Care, MH Go Health, Little Flower Home Health, and Civitas Engineering. The Texas Medical Association provided free flu vaccine and free helmets to kids and educated them on bike safety.
In summary, the health fair helped serve as a platform to educate the public on healthy living, connect residents with local health resources, and foster a culture of wellness. By Guruji’s grace, next year’s health fair is planned to be held on September 26, 2026.
