Houston Gopa Kuteeram Annual Day Program
With Sri Swamiji’s grace, Houston Gopa Kuteeram completed another successful and grace-filled year where about 70 children in ages 4-14 were nurtured in the path of Bhagavata Dharma, across 5 centers and through over 15 teachers.
The annual day program on May 2, 2026 was held at Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal Temple (Namadwaar Houston). The program began with vibrant Mahamantra kirtan by all children and parents. The value of Gopa Kuteeram and satsang for children of all ages was then emphasized.
Following this, three older youth who went through the Gopa Kuteeram program, and are now part of the online Global GOD Yuva program, shared inspiring words on how Gopa Kuteeram has impacted them, and their experience of continuing in the Yuva program.
Each Gopa Kuteeram class including the bhajan club and Bhagavatam clubs then presented some of what they had learned through the year, and teachers also shared their joy in teaching and learning from the children through the year. Notably, children attending the Bhagavatam Club also amazed the audience with their memorization of difficult and rare slokas.
The program concluded with 3 times Hanuman Chalisa chanting and Maha Arati for Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal.
