Houston Gopa Kuteeram Annual Day Celebration
The year-end celebration of 2024-25 Gopa Kuteeram in Houston was held on Sat April 26, 2025 at Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal Temple / Namadwaar Houston. About 60 students from 9 classes in 5 centers from around the Houston area led by 15 teachers, offered their learnings from the year in the form of skits, slokas, bhajans, short talks, visual presentations, etc. Over 120 people attended the event.
GK high-school youth also conducted a ‘sweet’ fundraiser for our temple’s Gopuram project where people were encouraged to donate a minimum amount and receive ice cream or cotton candy as a note of thanks.
The evening also celebrated the first year anniversary of “Friends of Prahlad” – monthly Mahamantra chanting for children, and many kids stayed back to joyfully chant Nama for 30 minutes.

Thankfulness, in Abundance, for Guruji Maharaj’s Stellar Guidance in Fashioning the above Celebrations that would serve as a springboard for Spectacular Accomplishments by the ‘Gopa Kuteeram-groomed children!
