Guru Poornima 2026 Celebration at Namadwaar Singapore
On 29 July 2026, devotees in Singapore gathered at Namadwaar to celebrate Guru Poornima.
Preparations began the previous night itself, with ladies gathering at Namadwaar Singapore to create a rangoli in front of Sri Guruji’s padhuka. On the morning of the 29th, Guru Poornima wishes went out to Namadwaar Singapore devotees, with a picture of the colorful rangoli, accompanied by “Muralidharaya Namaha” and Sri G’s padham. As always, devotees gathered in the late afternoon to decorate Sri Swamiji and His aasanam with fragrant flowers. In the evening, padhuka abhishekam was performed, followed by archanai led by Brahmasri Janardhanan ji, while devotees immersed themselves in singing the Mahamantra, Guru Keerthanam, and Madhurageetam. Janaji then gave a beautiful explanation for why we celebrate Guru Poornima, sharing the mahimai of Sri Vyasar and describing how devotees around the world honor their respective gurus on this special day. He also emphasized that it is prudent for anyone to approach their gurus with the intention of reaching Bhagawan and walking the path that leads to Him, rather than to seek guidance only on worldly matters. The celebration concluded with Dolotsavam and Harathi, after which dinner prasadam was served to all attendees.
The ambience was filled with sweet remembrance of our Sri Swamiji, drawing the devotees closer to Him, even when physically miles away.
