Grand Opening After Renovation – Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal Temple (Namadwaar Houston)

By the divine grace of Bhagavan and Sri Swamiji, and sincere efforts of donors, volunteers, and workers, the newly renovated abode of Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal was opened to devotees on the auspicious first Purattaasi Saturday, Sep 20, 2025. The renovations included a new Raja Gopuram (Raj Mahadwaar) resplendent with Perumal, Anjaneyar and Garudazhwar shining brilliantly atop. Dwarapalakas Jaya and Vijaya also took their place inside, welcoming devotees to our Srinivasa Perumal’s divine abode. The interiors of the temple were upgraded with traditional panels. As part of the renovation, the temple also added four new traditional vahanams that were made in India – Garuda, Kudirai, Yaanai and Sesha vahanams.

As ordained by Sri Swamiji, Akhanda Mahamantra kirtan was performed through the day, with the chanting of Atma Nivedanam stotram every hour (a stotram of surrender to Lord Srinivasa). There was a continuous flow of devotees throughout the day, and over 300 devotees visited the temple that day to have darshan of Sri Aishwarya Srinvasa Perumal and participated in the Mahamantra chanting. Laddu prasadam was distributed to devotees all day.

In the evening, a special Thinai Deepam puja was conducted, as Sri Swamiji’s Madhurageethams were sung. Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam and Hanuman Chalisa (three times) were also chanted. The event concluded with Maha Haarati to our divinely radiant Perumal.
