GOD Yuva Program – Presentations on Dealing with Worry

With Sri Swamiji’s grace and blessings, many youth from across the globe participate in a weekly online Yuva program conducted by Sri Ramanujamji, where varied topics based on Srimad Bhagavatam and daily ‘Intelligent Living’ are discussed in a contemporary and youth-relevant manner.

Last month, Sri Ramanujamji discussed extensively six strategies to handle ‘worry’, and along with Sri Sriram ji from Houston, also conducted a couple of workshop-style exercises for the youth to learn to think through and apply these strategies. Following this, youth in teams of 7-8 spent about three weeks practicing these strategies, journaling and documenting their experience and thoughts.

Finally, on May 17, 2026, the teams presented their learnings to the whole group, where they shared how they tried to deal with worry and anxiety, based on strategies discussed in earlier Yuva sessions. Seven teams with 65 youth from US, Canada, India, Muscat, and Singapore participated in the 3-week project.

All the teams shared insights that they gained during the practice, and the wonderful outcome was that they were able to look at their life happenings from a higher perspective. They also emphasized how they were able to start treating worry as a natural reaction rather than something negative to be suppressed.
