GOD Model Village

While inaugurating Kalattipet Namadwaar on July 26 2022, Sri Swamiji expressed his desire to make Kalattipet, a model village in India. This village and its people should act as role models in the spheres of education, health, hygiene, environment, sanitation, fitness, implementation and usage of various government schemes etc. The youth team of Kalattipet under the leadership of Sri Mari, Sri Sundar and Sri Manthraj Gowtham and with guidance from GOD India Trust volunteers have started the implementation of this great idea. They have planned a series of activities under this scheme aptly named by Sri Swamiji as “GOD Model Village / GOD முன்மாதிரி கிராமம்”.

On 18.12.2022, the following was performed:

• CCTV camera infrastructure was presented to Government High School, Kalattipet.
• Tree saplings (with protective cover) were planted at Government School premises, Kalattipet Bus Stand and public places.

The event was well attended by Village President and elected representatives, School staff and the Kalattipet village public. The next activity planned is Pongal Sports and Cultural Festival in January 2023.
