Canadian Parliament Recognizes Opening of New Namadwaar
By Sri Swamiji’s grace, Namadwaar Ontario, at Ingersoll near Toronto in Canada, was inaugurated by Sri Swamiji on Sunday November 9, 2025 at 9 am local time.
Sri Swamiji first gave a wonderful blessing message emphasizing the power and value of the Divine Name and expressed his joy at the opening of this new Namadwaar. As devotees chanted the Mahamantrra joyfully, Sri Swamiji watched over camera and remotely opened the curtain of the nameplate, signifying the official opening of the Namadwaar.
Festivities with Radha Kalyanam continued afterwards, and in the afternoon, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held with special guests Canadian Member of Parliament- Oxford, Mr. Arpan Khanna, and the Mayor of Ingersoll. Mr. Brian Petrie. The officials were introduced to the activities of Global Organization for Divinity in Canada and worldwide, and also to Namadwaars worldwide. Both officials heartily welcomed Namadwaar Ontario to Canada and the Ingersoll/Toronto community. They also appreciated the uniqueness and message in GOD’s logo – No Name, No Fame, No Self-Interest. Only God. The MP also presented a ‘recognition plaque’ to GOD Canada. On this same day, in the Canadian House of Commons (lower house of parliament) in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, an announcement of the opening of the new Namadwaar prayer center in Ontario was displayed.
The Namadwaar Ontario opening Utsav was celebrated as a 3-day event that also included Guru vandanam, Sri Guru Paduka thirumanjanam, kirtan with Madhurageethams and Ashtapadis, lots of Mahamantra kirtan, Divyanamasankirtan, performances by Gopa Kuteeram children, and more.
