Bhajan Beats – Namadwaar Atlanta
“By the youth and for the youth” truly came alive in Bhajan Beats, a vibrant program thoughtfully curated and orchestrated by the Atlanta Namadwaar Yuva Mandali, inspired by the divine guidance and vision of Sri Swamiji. This initiative has been instrumental in drawing youth and children toward the blissful experience of chanting the divine name.
Taking complete ownership of the event, the Yuva Mandali led every aspect—from designing flyers to creating engaging social media promotions. These young children of Sri Swamiji continue to exemplify dedication to seva, never missing an opportunity to serve and walk the path laid out by Sri Swamiji.
Hosted at Namadwaar on May 17th 2026, the youth came together as a family – decorating the space, preparing diligently, and delivering an energizing and uplifting experience for all in attendance. The program featured a harmonious blend of musical instruments, bringing together Indian classical instruments such as mridangam, flute, and harmonium with Western instruments like drums, guitar, and cello. Diverse in origin yet unified in spirit, the sounds came together like a single heartbeat, elevating the chanting experience.
The Yuva Mandali led the gathering with Nama chanting in six different tunes, gracefully interwoven with Namavalis at regular intervals. Some of the Namavalis offered included “He Madhava Madhusudhana,” “Bhaktha Bhaktha Bhakta Vatsala,” and “Gopakumara Gopikananda.” They also incorporated simple, thoughtfully choreographed dance steps, enabling everyone to joyfully participate with ease.
The two-hour program witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 37 youth, all adorned in traditional Indian attire. They chanted, danced, and joyfully swayed to the divine Nama, creating an atmosphere filled with energy and devotion.
No celebration is complete without prasadham. With much love, Namadwaar devotees prepared a special meal thoughtfully curated to suit the taste of the youth. Adding a sweet touch, cookies and brownies were lovingly baked by the Satsang children. The children thoroughly enjoyed both the event and the prasadham, making the entire experience truly memorable.
