Ashada Ekadasi Celebrations at Houston

By the blessings of Sri Swamiji and the immense grace of Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal, the Ashada Ekadasi Abhang Mela was celebrated at Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Temple. During the event, devotees sang abhangs of various Panduranga Bhaktas including Saints of Maharashtra, Sri Krishna Premi Swamiji and our Sri Swamiji. In keeping with the tradition of the Varkari procession with Kirtans and Abhangs, Sant Jnaneshwar and Sant Thukaram were taken in procession in decorated palkhis from Alandi and Dehu to Pandharpur, as an anukaranam. Many devotees participated while dressed in traditional Marathi attire. The event, which saw an attendance of about 150 people, concluded with Hanumanji’s puja, Harathi and dinner prasadam.
