Puranava 2024 – Pune

With the immense grace and blessings of Sri Swamiji, the first PURANAVA quiz program in Pune was a grand success.

The event took place in the auditorium of S.B. Patil Public School in Ravet, Pune. 13 schools with a total of 104 teams participated in the event. The auditorium was filled to capacity with eager participants and teachers. The enthusiasm shown by the schools was remarkable. The Chief Guest, Dr. Rohini Patil, Executive Director of D.Y. Patil Public School, was so impressed that she requested her school’s inclusion in the event when invited to be the chief guest.

The students displayed immense zeal and were highly attentive, showing great interest throughout the competition.

The schools that advanced to the finals were:
– Sterling School, Bhosari
– SNBP Public School
– S.B. Patil Public School
– Podar International School, Wakad
– Podar International School, Chinchwad
– D.I.C.’s English Medium School

The competition between the first and second runners-up was so close and a tie-breaker round determined the winner. SNBP Public School secured the first place. S.B. Patil Public School was the 1st runner-up, and Podar International School, Chinchwad, secured the 2nd runner-up position.

After the event, the students and teachers eagerly interacted with the quiz masters. The response highlights the interest of schools, students, and faculty for more such enriching events in the future. The Puranava event was well received in Pune.

Radhe Radhe. Pranams and Prostrations to Guruji Maharaj’s Lotus Feet, that compellingly bestows Unsullied Bliss to all of us! This ‘cult classic’ of Satsang, christened charmingly as ” Puranava” by our Esteemed Guruji is so sorted and, succinctly put, is as sharp as a tact! The ‘savior faire’ of the Organizers, Teachers and Students is palpably evident from the photographs and the crisp write up given above. It’s indeed an awesome sight – the Glittering Trophies, students’ faces brimming with unabated enthusiasm, presentation by the zealous volunteers, et al. The mental acuity, astuteness and precociousness of the students are perched at a higher pedestal, the closely contested Quiz program, is a testament. Thankfulness to our Respected and Revered Guruji for stewardship of this edition, so masterfully!

    Jai Shree Gurunath.

Puranava 2024 , though conducted for the first time in Pune, it gained a huge attention of the students and Teachers of Pune that some students asked particularly whether the Program would be conducted in the years to come also.

Hats off to Smt Saraswathi Sundaresan and the organising team as a whole
