Puranava 2024 – Mumbai

By the immense grace of our Satgurunathar, the fifth edition of the annual event PURANAVA was conducted in Mumbai on 30th Nov 2024 at Zaveriben Auditorium, Ghatkopar. 26 schools registered sending a total of 106 teams.

The event was a big success and the students were quite enthusiastic. The prelims score was mostly neck to neck between 9/10 schools, and as per the norms of the quiz competition, the 6 teams for the finals were selected.

The finals was conducted with a couple of new rounds added and with active participation of the audience as well.

The rapid fire round totally turned the score board by 180 degrees. The Dumb Charade round made a big impact on the students.

The cash awards in addition to the trophies increased the momentum of the competition.

The winners were Swami Vivekananda School Afternoon Batch, the first and second runners up being P G Garodia ICSE School and D J Doshi Gurukul respectively

The quiz program generated a lot of enthusiasm amongst the students, teachers, and parents. The chief guest for the function was Sri. Ramesh Narayan. A stalwart of Indian Advertising, having held top post in Indian, Asian and Global Advertising bodies, is also an accomplished photographer, philantropist who encouraged the students to participate in such programs and congratulated the organisers and quiz masters for imbibing a lot of interest in Indian Heritage amongst the young minds.

The above Compendious Write up, triggers a repertoire of emotions, what to marvel at: Colossal participation of 106 teams, the voluminous time and exemplary efforts ploughed in for coordination with all stake holders in perfect rhythm, the Striking Brilliance adorning the adorable countenance of the children, the Aesthetically-crafted Trophies, the fervency and ardency of children and organizers, in equal measure, the Layer of Intensity interlaced exquisitely, the Fabulous List is endless! Guruji Maharaj’s compassion : Rather than swerving our (especially children) lives into a litany of lingering regrets transforms it to time-honoured expression, “well-settled”, right from the moment we enter His Divine Precincts and Receive His Priceless Grace! Each and every portrait keeps us Riveted, thanks to its artistry, mirroring the Unmitigated Enthusiasm of all. Breviloquent conclusion: this chapter surpasses in scale of Presentation appreciating and kindling the Latent Talent in the children, their Precociousness and Sagaciousness explicitly!
