Puranava 2018 – Bangalore

Semi Finals and Finals of the Puranava 2018 – Inter District Indian Heritage Quiz Competition was held in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Race course road, on the 27th Oct 2018. 104 schools from Bangalore participated in this year Puranava from Bangalore. Students, Teachers & Parents were all enthusiastic and preparing till the last minute to see their school qualify to the finals. Over 250 students had come in from the various qualifying schools to cheer up their participants.

The Program commenced with lighting of the lamp followed by chanting of the Mahamantra by all the GOD volunteers and the audience.  Sekarji compered the entire program including introduction to the GOD activities. 6 teams from the Semi-finals were selected to the Finals of Puranava. Ms. Madhuri Narayan conducted the finals of Puranava 2018.

This year featured a variety of entertaining rounds for both semi-finals & finals including explaining the meaning of the Srimad Bhagavatham slokas. Many interesting new rounds were introduced.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya – Koramangala emerged as the Winner of Puranava 2018. All the 3 teams were presented with Gold trophy / Medal, Silver trophy/ medals, Bronze trophy / medals respectively. Participating students from both the Semi-finals and the Finals were presented with Certificates & gift vouchers.
