10th Annual Madhurageetham Bhajan Contest
The 10th year of the Madhurageetham annual bhajan contest was held in Narada Gana Sabha on the 12th of Jan 2025, with 24 teams participating from 16 schools across Chennai. All the teams gave an outstanding performance of the Madhurageetham kirtans with a relevant namavali. The winners of the contest were two teams from PSBB KK Nagar, trained by Smt. Srividhya Swaminathan, Smt. Jayanthi Balachandar, and Smt. Nirmala Venkataraman.
Sandipani Vidyalaya, trained by Smt. Priya Bharat, and team Amarabharati, trained by Smt. TungaVidhya, shared the second place. Special mention awards were presented to one other team from Sandipani Vidyalaya, recognized as the youngest team, and to the Naadha Saagaram team, trained by Smt. Medha Varshinee, for excellent team coordination.
The award ceremony on the 13th was marked by the divine presence of Sri Swamiji, who blessed all the winners by giving away the prizes and certificates.

Radhe Radhe. Pranams and Prostrations to Guruji Maharaj’s Holy Feet. That Madhurageethams are the Soulful Outpourings of Guruji Maharaj’s Connect, Communion and Immersion in Incalculable Spiritual Bliss with “The Ultimate” is portrayed unequivocally and couched in simple, yet potent, verses is universally acknowledged. It was indeed a feast to see tiny tots participating with Incomparable Involvement. The vim, verve and vigour with which these Clutch of Competitions have been conceived and executed meticulously, speaks eloquently about the zest and zeal of all the stakeholders. Anchoring by Sow Charulatha Pradeep was so genuine that it enraptured all of us. While saying “hats off” to the Elite Jury, Erudite Teachers, bowing my head, with humility, to The Master’s Holy Feet, not only for the Priceless Jewel of Compositions ( that enable us to have a miniscule peek into His Psyche that is revelling perennially, in “Eternal Contact” with the Supreme Providence) but also infusing gently, Faith in God at a very tender age in the minds of the children, the Torch bearers of Tomorrow! Glory to Esteemed Guruji!!
