The snake and the mongoose

It is common knowledge that the snake and mongoose are mutual enemies and fight one another.
Sometimes, when a mongoose confronts a cobra and finds that the cobra is gigantic and extremely powerful, it runs back into the bushes and returns with an army of mongooses.
It is indeed a true army, where the ‘king mongoose’ also arrives.
But one surprising fact is that the king mongoose does not fight the cobra. It is carried by the other mongooses on their heads and merely comes and meets the cobra in the eye. The radiance in the eyes of the king mongoose is extremely powerful — more powerful than the lightning. Verily looking into the eyes of the king mongoose, the cobra falls down and dies.
Though there are other mongooses, it is only the king mongoose that has this unique power in its eyesight, is it not? In the same way, common people may look at each other in the eye. But if the Guru graces you with His powerful sight, all your venomous Vasanas will subside and die down just like the poisonous reptile that fell dead by the sheer glance of the king mongoose.
