Fond memories of bliss – Part 21 – 1

I happened to listen to an incredible experience that Ms. Janani Kumarasami, an ardent devotee of Sri Sri Swamiji had some time ago. I am penning it down, as narrated by Ms. Janani.
“
Many of Sri Sri Swamiji’s devotees have had very vivid and divine dreams involving Swamiji which have come true as it is. I too had one such experience.

Once Swamiji had instructed Vishnupriya, Sri Sri Swamiji’s devotee, and me to chant the holy name ‘ Yogiramsuratkumar” continuously for 48 days at Premika Bhavanam. During that period, one day Vishnupriya noticed the mark of a fan and a coconut shell on the ceiling, both of which are the unique symbols of the great Saint Yogiramsuratkumar of Tiruvannaamalai. But, this could be seen only if the ceiling was well lit. We became very elated, taking it to be God’s acknowledgement of our chanting. We were eager to show this to Swamiji soon. Two days later I had a dream in the wee morning hour. In that, I vividly saw Sri Sri Swamiji get down from His car and enter the house to see it. But unfortunately, there was no power because of which we could not show it to Him. I witnessed in the dream that even as we were disappointed, Swamiji left enquiring about the chanting.

I narrated the whole dream which was very fresh in my mind to Vishnupriya in the morning. That afternoon, Sri Sri Swamiji came to Premika Bhavanam in His car as exactly as in the dream. He, then, just came in to see the symbols that had appeared on the ceiling. But,lo!, the power had gone just a few minutes back. We could not believe ourselves! So, we could not show Him the symbols. Even as we stood dumb-founded, the next thing happened too! He left the place enquiring us about the chanting.

We only smiled at each other in astonishment. Later when we told Swamiji about this dream which had come true to the very minute detail, He too was surprised. Then Swamiji repeatedly kept telling us with a smile – “Look! Everything is pre-determined, isn’t it? Even the fact that there will be a power-cut is pre-determined!”
