Fond memories of bliss – Part 14

One most noticeable aspect in Sri Swamiji is his poetic, lyrical manner of conveying his thoughts. Even if the matter is trivial, the style of delivery adopted by Sri Swamiji would make it memorable. The manner in which Sri Swamiji coins his words would put an accomplished poet to shame. It would all come out so naturally and spontaneously.

Once Sri Swamiji had been on a visit to the residence of Sri Shankaranarayanan a devotee from Bangalore. Sri Swamiji was sitting in the hall and was looking intently at the idol of Sri Krishna which was placed atop the television stand. One of the arms was broken a bit. Sri Shankarnarayanan’s daughter who saw Swamiji looking intently in that direction wanted to know what was it that interested Him so much.

Smilingly pointing to Sri Krishna with a broken arm , Sri Swamiji said ” I have known that Krishna is harmless. Now I see that He is armless too!” Everyone broke into a spontaneous laughter.
