We celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami on 2nd night at our home with around 15 participants. It began with nama chanting for 40 mts followed by recitation of 3 chapters of Canto 10 of Srimad Bhagwatham. Little Krishna was carried in a small basket and put on the well decorated cradle along with Eahi Gopala sri vanamala song.
We had wonderful divyanamam and kolattam singing Sri Swamijis madhura geetham. Perialwars Avathara pasurams, Mukunda malai and Achuthashtagam were recited. The celebration was concluded with nama chanting , aarti and neivedyam.
