Srimad Bhagavatam Parayanam Poorthi by Namadwaar Singapore Youth Team

With the abundant grace of our Guru Maharaj and beloved deities Sri Madhuri Sakhi Sametha Sri Premika Varadan, 24 youth team members of Namadwaar Singapore, who embarked on Srimad Bhagavatam parayanam in January 2026, completed their poorthi on 18th April 2026. It is noteworthy that some of the youth team members read Srimad Bhagavatam for the first time. Their parents expressed immense happiness at seeing Srimad Bhagavatam in the hands of these young ones and at witnessing them diligently reading the chapters over several weeks.

The evening commenced with the chanting of the Mahamantra, followed by an inspiring sharing session by Dr Janani ji. She spoke to the youth team about how dear Srimad Bhagavatam is to Sri Guruji, and how seeing young Namadwaar family members undertaking the parayanam of Srimad Bhagavatam would bring Him immense happiness. She also encouraged the youth team members to continue their parayanam and gradually deepen their understanding chapter by chapter, to immerse themselves in the bliss of Srimad Bhagavatam.

Following this, the youth team members and adult members of Namadwaar Singapore read chapters 12 and 13 of Skandam-12. After the poorthi, Brahmasri Janardhananji appreciated the youth team’s efforts. He further enquired of the youth team who a true friend is and concluded by saying that a true friend is one who constantly guides a person on the righteous path. Friends made through Satsang and Srimad Bhagavatam parayanam, such as this, are true friends for life. He encouraged the youth team members to strengthen their ties by engaging in more rounds of Srimad Bhagavatam parayanam.

The evening concluded with Dolotsavam and dinner prasadam. Seeing the youth team enjoy the dinner prasadam together truly resonated with Jananiji’s message. May this friendship and parayanam last long, and may they continue their kainkaryam with the same vigor.
