Rama Navami Celebrations at Namadwaar Melbourne

This Rama Navami, the Melbourne satsang community came together at Namadwaar for a beautiful morning of Sampradaya bhajan and Seetha Kalyanam. Sri Rama Subramanian Bhagavathar led the session, filling the space with a joyful and uplifting energy.

Bhagavathar began with a few familiar Guru Krithis — of trinity Gurus – Shri Bodhendra Swamigal, Marudhanallur Sathguru Swamigal , Sridhara ayyaval— rendered in a simple, unhurried style that drew everyone in. The audience listened with attention, and there was a natural sense of connection as the compositions unfolded.

In the Divya Namam segment, the energy shifted in a lovely way. The Level 1–3 Gopakuteeram children, along with satsang families, presented a Divya Namam dance that was full of heart and received warmly by everyone. This was then followed by the starting of the sita kalyanam padhadhi. With the Kalyana Ashtapathi being sung , followed by muthu kuthal the traditional samarpanam of Grains to bhagwan and then it was followed by Kanya dhanam, pravaram and mangalya dharanam.

The morning concluded with a prayer to Sri Swamiji that we may be blessed with many more such Bhagavatha associations and celebrations for the benefit of the wider community.
