His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit at the National Sanskrit University in Tirupati, India, followed by intensive study of ancient Indian scriptures at Shuddha Premika Vidya Kendra in Senganur, Tamil Nadu. A versatile cultural ambassador, Srivaths Mahadevan’s knowledge extends into the realm of south indian classical music, where he has studied under the tutelage of Smt Geetha Sundaresan, a disciple of the legendary D.K. Pattamal and has specialised in the Dakshina Pracheena devotional school of music.
