Sri Guru Premamrutham – Divya Charitra of Sri Sri Swamiji

A unique landmark event happened at Premika Bhavanam, Chennai  from November 28^th through December 14^th, 2009.  For the first time in our satsang, hundreds of devotees were drenched in an inexplicable bliss of Sri Sri Swamiji’s Avatara and Divya Leelas by Dr. A. Bhagyanathan, Personal Secretary to HH Sri Sri Swamiji as a marathon 17-day lecture.  Devotees thronged Premika Bhavanam on all days to participate in this unique Mahotsav.   The Divya Katha as experienced by all fortunate devotees was nothing short of a transforming meditative experience. In the words of a devotee, this was literally a journey along our Guru Maharaj’s Divine Life brought ‘alive’ by Dr. Bhagyanathan by the boundless grace of Sri Sri Swamiji. His exposition literally gave everybody the feeling that they have lived and experienced every single leela directly. 

On December 14^th, the concluding day, a grand finale was organized.  Sri Sri Swamiji’s divine Portrait was decorated on the pedestal right next to where Dr. Bhagyanathan lectured.  He was blessed and honoured with Prasadams / Parivattam / Garlands and Shawls by Sri. Balaji and Sri.Ravi on behalf of Madhuri Sakhi Sametha Sri Premika Varadhan and Maharanyam Sri KalyanaSrinivasa Perumal Temple respectively.  Sri Janakiramanji also gave him the prasadams of Sri Srinivasa Perumal  of Premika Bhavanam , Chennai. 

Brahmasri T. Kannan Deekshitar, and Sri Srikanthji conveyed their wishes and appreciations to Bhagyanathanji highlighting how the grace of the Guru that enabled such an exposition.  Devotee  Prem expressed his love by gifting a Srinivasa Perumal ring and shawl.

All the devotees offered ‘pushpanjali’ to Sri Sri Swamiji’s Divine Portrait.  Smt. and Sri. Deenadayalan distributed sweets as Prasad to all fortunate devotees who feasted on the sweetness of Sri Sri Swamiji’s Divya Charitra delivered by our most fortunate Sri Bhagyanathanji.
