With the blessings of Sri Sri Swamiji, Sri Krishna Jayanthi was celebrated with fervour at the residence of Mrs. Priya Suresh and Dr. Suresh in Lowestoft, UK on the 14th of August, between 7pm -10pm. There was a a gathering of around 10 people who participated in the satsang.
The agenda was as follows:
1. Welcome address 2. Reading of the Tenth Canto from Srimad Bhagavatham, the chapter about the birth of Sri Krishna - it was mesmerizing to hear about the advent of the Lord 3. Bhajans 4. Mukundamala and Krishnastakam recitation 5. Satsang members watched the video of Sri Sri Swamiji’s speech on 'Kaliyuga Gayathri Mantra' which was available on the NamaDwaar site 6. Nama Sankirtan.
This was followed by a feast in celebration of the birth of Kutti Krishnan. Devotees went home with joyous hearts filled with the divine love of Sri Krishna and the sweet melodies of the Mahamantra!
It was indeed a joyous occassion made feasible entirely due to the blessings of Sri Sri Sri Swamiji
