It was all splendor between the 4th and 8th of June, 2009 at the Sundara Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Kalkere, Bangalore. Every evening at 5 pm, the ‘Utsava Murthy’, dressed up very well, would take his position on his ‘Jhoola’ (which was also decked up beautifully by our temple priests Sri. Naveen Bhatt and Sri. Ravikiran). Bhajans were rendered by our satsang members and Sri Anjaneya would swing merrily listening to the bhajans. It appeared as though He invited His father too to witness the event, for, it was so pleasantly and refreshingly breezy through the 5 days.
The fitting finale to the Vasantotsav was that the very next day (09-06-09) was ‘Moola Nakshatram’, and our dear Anjaneya had a ‘PURAPPADU’ (around the sanctum sanctorium) to the tune of the Mahamantra.
