Sita Kalyanam was performed in a grand manner at the Sri Sundara Anjaneya Temple, Kalkere, Bengaluru on 24th and 25th of January 2009 by Sri Sattanatha Bhagavathar and other Bhagavathars.

The function started at 8.00 am on 24th January 2009 with Thodayamangalam, Gurukeerthans followed by Ashtapathi.  In the night, there was Divyanama with Abhang Bhajans which was very much enjoyed by a large number of devotees who had come for the event.

The next day morning program started with Unjavrithi followed by Ashtapathi. Around 500 devotees from the local villages had gathered to witness the great event of Sita Kalyanam which was very well enjoyed and appreciated by them.  In the evening there was Pavalimbu and Vasantha Kelike.  The function ended with Anjaneya Ustavam at around 9.00 pm in the night.
