Let’s Pray for these Noble souls
Smt Srilatha Ravichandran of Hyderabad is a very dear devotee of Sri Swamiji and an integral part of our Ashram’s journey since early days. A brilliant Chartered Accountant by profession, Lathaji was one of the founding trustees of Sri Sandeepani Gurukula Seva Trust, Andhra Pradesh and spearheaded Bhagavatha Dharma prachar on behalf of our Global Organisation for Divinity India in Hyderabad. She single handedly ran Telugu version of Madhuramurali magazine, and gave lectures on Srimad Bhagavatam in Telugu language that had a wide outreach. A multitalented, multifaceted personality, Lathaji along with Sri Ravichandranji and their son Harsha dedicated their entire lives for Guru Kainkarya. As a testimony to her life of selfless seva to Bhagavan Sri Krishna, Smt Lathaji peacefully attained the Holy Feet of Bhagavan by Guru’s Grace on 20th March 2021, on Rohini Nakshatra, which happens to be the star of Bhagavan Sri Krishna. Although Lathaji has blissfully merged in the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan Sri Krishna, it has left a huge void that cannot be filled, in the heart of Sri Swamiji and the entire ashram. We pray that Bhagavan should bless Sri Ravichandranji and Sri Harsha with the much needed strength to bear this irreparable loss. Let us all chant the Mahamantra in prayer for this noble selfless sevak of our satsang.
Sri S Krishnaswami known fondly as Kannan mama, was a full time volunteer who served at the bookstore at Madhurapuri Ashram. Even in his ripe age he would wake up early in the morning and follow a very disciplined daily routine while attending to his duties. He would spend lot of time chanting Nama and reading Srimad Bhagavatam. He peacefully attained Bhagavan Sri Krishna’s feet by Guru’s Grace on 20th March 2021 on the day of Bhagavan Sri Krishna’s nakshatra, Rohini. We express our prayers and condolences to the family of this selfless Ashram volunteer. Let us all chant Nama for him.

It’s really heart wrenching to read the twin deaths. Latha mam is known as Iron lady of Hyderabad and have heard of her untiring efforts to propogate about guruji / Srimad Bhagavatham and nama.
Though i did not get much opportunity to speak with Sri Krishnaswami ji, but i cannot forget his hearty welcome with his smile and Radhe Radhe as we enter the book store in ashram.
As mentioned in the note by Dr.Bhagya ji, both undoubtedly have merged with Sri Krishna with the abundant grace of Guru maharaj on a very auspicious day today, its really an irreparable loss to miss them in their physical form. Though they have gone away from our sight, but for sure will ever remain at our hearts…..🙏

I had the good fortune of listening to Madam Lata’s Bhagavatam and Bhagavad Gita classes for four long years. Her lectures were sublime and imbued with a deep sense of devotion and longing for Lord Krishna. We shall miss her. Moksha Praptaristhu. Om Shanti 🙏

1. Deeply saddened to learn about the demise of my beloved friend Smt Latha Ravi. I had been to their home at Hyderabad when I was on official visit. My requests notwithstanding that I will make my way to the airport independently, both Smt Latha and Sri Ravi dropped me in the airport [which is quite far away from their home]. The journey was enthralling as it was nothing but “Madhurasmaranam” – how they both had Darshan of Guruji Maharaj on different dates [the day I went to their home was their First Darshan day and was treated royally!], how Sri Ravi’s flight was directed back to Chennai as, on that occasion he left without Darshan of Swamiji, and went to Ashram at the dead of the night and was blessed with Guruji Maharaj’s Darshan!, how Smt Latha was a blessed soul who provided lunch for Guruji Maharaj by boarding the train en route, travelling with Him for a couple of stations and when Guruji Maharaj, out of the blue, asked her to accompany Him to Brindavan and she left with Him and other devotees, without a spare dress in hand!, how Guruji Maharaj went to Calcutta in flight with Sri Ravi and exclaimed that ‘Chennai looks so beautiful in the night’. Apart from this, Smt Latha and I bonded very well, she was my bosom friend when we had fruitful time in Govindapuram reminiscing delightfully her association with Guruji Maharaj. They are the ones who are filing our IT Returns for Ram, Prasanna and self impeccably! Her departure is truly a huge loss for the muthuramans! As per the dictum of Guruji Maharaj, we shall all chant for her eternal peace -

Radhe Radhe. Pranams. Kannan Mama is a dear friend of Ram and myself. He has a very pleasing disposition and, those days, Ram and I, more often than not, were blessed to pay our obeisance at Ashram, on all Sundays; whenever we went, he welcomed us in the shop and rendered all assistance. He is an epitome of love and affection and when the shop was not crowded was always reading Srimad Bhagavatham, listening to the chanting rendition of Ms Vishnupriya. He is an unassuming person and there are many virtues to imbibe from him. We miss him deeply and shall definitely chant for his eternal peace.
