Compromise anything for the world.

Compromise nothing for God.

Think God!

Thank God!

‘G’ stands for Generator, ‘O’ for Operator and ‘D’ for Destroyer.

GOOD has two ‘O’s ; when you think there are two operators – one being the Almighty and the other being you, that is GOODNESS.

When you realize that there is only one operator – the Almighty, that is the state of GODLINESS.

Just as a good father thinks of somehow making his child study even if he has to use various means – petting, pleading, beating or threatening, the Lord too thinks of bestowing jnãna on His true Bhakta even if it be through harsh treatment.

We may have taken thousands of births and committed millions of sins. No matter how colossal that figure maybe, it is unquestionably well within the realm of the finite. God’s boundless grace, though, is immeasurable, limitless and infinite.

~ HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

God created men without bias, God created the world without bias, but men created God with bias.

Thinking of God is vital: thanking God is more vital.

When someone does business in a place for a few thousands of rupees, he can accurately account for his property. But if he is a multi-billionaire with businesses in many countries, he himself would not be able to enlist all his properties. Likewise the Supreme Lord of this Universe, finds it impossible to enlist all His glories and divine qualities!

God’s grace always flows in abundance. It is up to you to be ready to receive it.

In spiritual life, never go in for a second opinion. Good or bad, stick to one belief and develop unshakeable faith. Troubles befall you to test your faith. Win over it by your impregnable faith in God. He will never let you down.

~ HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

A true devotee expects grace from the Lord like a lover expecting a gift from his beloved. The sadhak expects grace from the Lord like an employee expecting wages from his master.

Bhagavan is nirguna (without quality). The nirguna Brahman needs an initiative to act. This is the reason we hold a Guru or Radha. They act as the initiation to the nirguna Brahman to act. There are some who pray to Bhagavan for something. They feel that only by demanding they can get what they seek. Yet, there are others who think ‘Bhagavan knows everything. There is no need to ask Him. He will give on His own.’ This is also a kind of initiation. This itself will make the Lord act.

~HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

God created all the things needed for the survival of man and also created man. Why did God create man? Only so that he would do bhakti and attain jnãna. Man has not only failed to do bhakti, but on the contrary, involves himself in forbidden actions that appear to mock at God’s creation.

~HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

Be it the Alwars or the Nayanmars, or other great devotees, they looked upon their ‘Ishta Devata’ (Personal God) only as the essence of the Vedas. In other words, all of them perceived the Vedas itself as their deity of worship. And that is the truth. God is Vedas and Vedas is God.

~HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

If the Almighty demands from us something which we are incapable of offering, would it not sadden us? So what does He do? He first bestows the capability on the one from whom He desires to have a thing and then places His demands!

~HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

God created man according to His wish. Man created God according to his wish too!

~HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

We like to wear dresses of varied colors; we like to eat diferent cuisines. The Lord being a rasika also sports different forms and names in the same way. What is wrong in that?

~HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

When we lift a lot of weight we get tired. When we walk a long distance, we get tired. But the mouth and ears never experience tiredness! We never get tired of talking or listening. - -The Lord out of his immense mercy has created us like this so that we can always Chant His Name and listen to His glories.

~HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

We find in humans that God has designed the reproductive system for procreation through the urinary tract! Is he giving us all a message? Ways of the Lord are indeed mysterious!

~HH Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

The Lord is an epitome of humility -- so much so that he does not show even His face to anyone and everyone!
